Annual Support

Annual Campaign

The YMCA’s Annual Campaign takes on a variety of looks as this annual fundraising campaign seeks to raise the much needed funds to assist those in need. Each year the YMCA of Youngstown conducts its Annual Campaign to help make our mission a reality by allowing access to Y programs and services. For decades, our YMCA has pledged to turn no one away from its programs and services due to their inability to pay the regular fees for those activities. One way our YMCA honors that pledge is with the charitable support raised from our members and our community. Take some time to give back and volunteer to help on the campaign or participate in one or all of these campaign events.

One of our biggest fundraisers of the year, the Central YMCA Spin-A-Thon, brings together a dedicated group of spinning enthusiasts and friends of the YMCA to help support critical programs at the YMCA of Youngstown. Riders raise $50 for each hour they spin. Many ride for the full four-hour event!

The 2019 Spin-A-Thon will be held on Saturday, March 30th from 8am-noon at the Central YMCA.

This year the money raised from the Spin-A-Thon will support our Youngstown Swims initiative, providing swim lessons to every 2nd grader in the Youngstown City Schools, swim lessons to children with disabilities, financial assistance making swim lessons affordable for those in need.

Annual Golf Outing

In 2013 the Davis Family YMCA began the tradition of an annual golf outing. Taking place at the Knoll Run Golf Course, the proceeds of the golf outing help fund our LIVESTRONG at the YMCA cancer survivor program and other causes we focus on in our cause-driven work.

The 2019 Annual Golf Outing, On Course for a Cause, will take place on Friday, July 19, 2019.
