Divisionals time!  We are just days away from our Divisional Championship meet which we will be hosting at YSU this Sunday, February 4.  Attendance at practice has been fantastic!  Keep coming in order to prepare to do your best at Divisionals.

Divisionals entry fee envelopes are now in your mailboxes.  Please use these envelopes to pay your meet fees. Envelopes with payment can be turned in to Coach Sue. Make checks payable to the “Y-Neptunes.” Also in each envelope is a slip of paper listing your events.  Some envelopes also include the $10 Concession Stand Fee that all families are paying so we can fill our concession stand with great food at Divisionals.  Hosting Divisionals is a fund-raising event for us and we make the most money from our concession stand.  Thanks to everyone ahead of time for your donation!

Warm-ups for Divisionals are as follows: The 15-18s, 13-14s and 8 & Unders swim in the morning session.  Girls warm-up at 7:15 a.m.; Boys at 7:45 a.m. The meet starts at 8:30 a.m. The 9 & 10s and 11-12s swim in the afternoon session.  Your warm-ups begin 15 minutes after the end of the morning session, but not before 1:00 p.m.  Girls will warm-up for the first 30 minutes; boys for 30 minutes after the girls.  The meet will start 1 hour and 15 minutes after warm-ups begin, but not before 1:00 p.m.  Those swimming in the morning – be at the YSU natatorium by 7:00 a.m.; those swimming in the afternoon – be at the YSU natatorium by 12:45 a.m.

The Neptunes Banquet – will be held Sunday, March 11 at the Georgetown. Information on the banquet is in your mailboxes. Remember that we have a Chinese Auction at our banquet.  There are great sales going on right now, so maybe plan ahead and pick up a bargain to raffle off at the banquet.

Zone Qualifiers – See the list on the Neptune Info Board to keep track of who has qualified for Zones so far.  Relays swimmers will be determined after Leagues on Saturday, March 3. Congratulations to those who have qualified so far and “good luck” to those who are just ticks of the clock away from a Zone time as they swim in Divisionals, Leagues and their high school meets.

Swim Caps - See Coach Sue if you ordered personalized swim caps and have not picked them up yet. Remember to have $14 for each pair of caps you ordered. We also have non-personalized Neptune swim caps available for $5!
