Practices this week – On Thursday, practice will only go for 1 ˝ hours so everyone should come at 7:00 p.m. We will practice some and then work on starts, turns and finishes.
Last Chance Meet – If you are close to a Zone time, please come to North Canton’s Invitational to be held Sunday, March 4 at the North Canton YMCA. Be at their pool by 12:45 to warm-up at 1:00 p.m. The meet starts at 1:40 p.m. Look at last week’s news to find out about this meet.
Banquet Information – Our banquet is fast approaching and we are getting some great auction item donations! Thanks to everyone for bringing in such cool items! If you have not turned in your item yet, bring it to the pool this week and give it to Coach Sue or Melanie Emerson. Also be sure to call Melanie Emerson and let her know if you are coming or not coming to the banquet. Her phone number is 330-427-2946. We want to have everyone there so we have the best banquet turn-out ever!
Zone Qualifiers – We will be having a special practice, Tuesday, March 6 at the Salem Community Center in Salem, Ohio. I will be renting three lanes for two hours and we will practice there and use the facility’s Tivo so everyone can view their starts and relay starts. We will then all go out to eat together at Jalisco’s. a Mexican restaurant in Salem. I am asking that each swimmer pay $5 to offset the cost of renting the pool and this can be turned in to me that day.
