Youngstown Y-Neptunes        

High School Program

Come train for your high school swim season with the Youngstown Y-Neptunes.  We offer convenient times, dry land training and an affordable program to meet any high school swimmer’s needs.

• Preseason training begins September 10^th
• Membership in the Youngstown YMCA is required for all team members.
• All high school swimmers are required to purchase a 6 month YMCA membership which costs
• By being a YMCA member, you also have access to all the fitness equipment at the YMCA, and may participate in any other YMCA fitness program (for a small extra class fee) including spinning and yoga.
• If you are a member of the Boardman, Canfield or Poland high school swim team where you leave to practice with your team mid-November, your Program Fee is $60.
• If you are a high school swimmer who will use the Neptune program for training from September through January, your Program Fee is $200.
• A swimming specific dry land training program will also be available for high school swimmers in the Neptunes program at no extra cost.
• As a Boardman, Canfield or Poland high school swimmer you may compete in three Y-Neptune dual meets prior to the beginning of the high school season which then permits you to attend the Great Lakes Zone YMCA Championships to be held at Cleveland State University in March of 2008 if you obtain a qualifying time anytime during your YMCA or high school season.
• All other high school swimmers compete with the Y-Neptune swim team throughout our dual meet season (YMCA invitationals are also available for competition opportunities) and you too may qualify to participate in the Great Lakes Zone YMCA Championships to be held at Cleveland State University in March of 2008 if you obtain a qualifying time anytime during your YMCA or high school season.
