Being a member of the YMCA means being a part of a community. Your community. It's far more than fitness equipment or swimming pools. That might be the reason you join, but the reason you stay is about the relationships you build and a belief in our mission. Becoming a member is quick and easy. A visit to our membership office, a tour of the facility and a few paperwork items to take care and we'll get you on your way to enjoying your membership quickly. Membership hours vary by branch, but rest assured, there is always someone on hand to answer your questions.

The Youngstown YMCA's 'Metro' association includes the Central YMCA in downtown Youngstown, the D.D. & Velma Davis Family YMCA in Boardman and Camp Fitch YMCA in North Springfield, PA.

Financial Assistance

The Youngstown YMCA is dedicated to providing services, based on Christian principles which enable all persons, regardless of race, religion, sex, income or physical ability, to achieve their full potential in spirit, mind and body. For this reason, financial assistance, made available through generous contributions, is available to those individuals or families who feel that the YMCA would benefit them physically, emotionally and spiritually, but who cannot afford the cost.
