Welcome to the Youngstown YMCA's new website! We've spent a ton of time redesigning it to make it easier to navigate and put the information you're looking for right at your fingertips. Please let us know what you think!

The new layout also includes some exciting changes to our logo. A new branding strategy was rolled out at the YMCA General Assembly in July that introduced a fresh, updated version of the old logo that has been in existence since 1967. The overall strategy helps the Y present a unified front so that we present our mission and program objectives uniformly. Our mission, as always, will be to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build health spirit, mind and body for all. Watch for these exciting changes at your favorite branch in the weeks and months ahead.

What's Coming Up at the Central Branch

DEEP POOL CLOSED

Monday, August 30 through Monday, September 6

The Deep Pool will be closed for annual maintenance. Members can use the Outdoor Pool at the Davis Branch Monday-Friday 7:00-9:00 am. Also, YSU is allowing lap swimmers to use their facility Monday-Friday 11:00 am -2:00 pm.


YOUTH LEAGUES & CLINICS

Fall is a busy time with Leagues and programs at the Y. Whether your child is interested in Soccer, Flag Football or Basketball (or ALL three!), we have a place for them!

COMMUNITY CUP

This is the 21st year for this classic fitness challenge to area businesses and organizations. Check out all the details from spectating to participating!

What's Coming Up at the Davis Branch

INDOOR POOL AREA CLOSED

Monday, August 23 through Monday, September 6

The Indoor Pool area is closed for annual maintenance and cleaning. The Outdoor Pool is open during this time period Monday-Friday from 7:00-9:00 am for lap swimmers. We are also keeping a lap lane open during regular outdoor hours.


POOCH PENTATHLON

Sunday, September 12 at 1 pm.

Start training Rover for the 5th annual Pooch Pentathlon. We're not sure who will have more fun! Watch for more information as we get closer.

SUMMER CAMPS

We have had a wonderful summer with your children! Thank you for sharing them with us!

We look forward to spending more time with them during Offschool Days this school year!

Registration begins Monday, August 30 for Members, September 6 for Others
